About Leda

We help organisations develop emerging leaders through structured, supported programs that create lasting behaviour change.

7,000+ leaders developed · 88-93% completion rate · Developed with Monash Business School · AACSB recognised 2018

Our Story

Leda was founded in 2016 after we saw the same pattern repeated across organisations: leadership training that inspired people for a day, then disappeared. Workshops with no follow-through. Content with no support. Good intentions with no structure.

The statistics backed up what we were seeing. Industry completion rates for online leadership training sit between 3-15%. Most programs fail not because the content is wrong, but because there's no structure to support real behaviour change.

We built Leda to fix this — combining evidence-based content developed with Monash Business School, structured learning journeys that fit into busy workdays, and live mentoring that keeps people accountable. The result: 88-93% completion rates and measurable outcomes like the 50% promotion rate we saw with MYOB's 2020 cohort.

Today, we've developed over 7,000 leaders across 150+ organisations in Australia and New Zealand, from ASX-listed companies to government departments to growing startups.

Ashley Leach

Founder

MBA, Melbourne Business School / Kellogg School of ManagementMaster of Marketing, Melbourne Business SchoolBEng Software Engineering, Flinders UniversityStartmate 2017 Graduate

Ashley founded Leda after a decade in digital behaviour change, where he saw firsthand why most training fails to stick. The insight was simple: behaviour change requires structure, support, and time — not a one-day workshop and a PDF.

Before Leda, Ashley ran digital behaviour change agencies working with health and education clients, and lectured in digital marketing at the University of South Australia. His technical background in software engineering combined with dual MBAs allows him to bridge the gap between learning science and scalable technology.

Our Approach

Structured journeys, not content libraries

Each program follows a deliberate sequence — building skills progressively over 6 or 9 months rather than dumping content and hoping it sticks.

Daily practice in real work

Bite-sized activities designed to fit into busy schedules. Leaders apply what they learn to actual situations they're facing, not hypothetical case studies.

Live mentoring and cohort learning

Monthly sessions with expert facilitators. Participants learn alongside peers facing the same challenges — building a shared leadership language across your organisation.

Completion rates that prove it works

88-93% of participants complete the full program. The industry average for online learning is 3-15%. We've engineered every element — from journey design to facilitator support — to ensure people finish and apply what they've learned.
